Need some inspiration?…We found it in Ireland.
The Doolin Cliff Walk is a one of a kind experience.
A journey The Great Escape Plan stumbled upon serendipitously.
After planning a west coast swing through Ireland, we gave ourselves a final day to visit the Cliffs of Moher in County Clare.
The Cliffs are one of the most visited attractions of the Emerald Isle.
On our first trip, we were met with a thick fog and could barely see the cliffs.
We decided we must come back and visit this amazing experience even if we had to reschedule our entire Escape Plan halfway through our time in Ireland.
Anna did a little research, checked the weather forecast, and found a farmhouse near the attraction.
We figured if we stayed at the Doonagore Farmhouse, we’d have a full day to enjoy the cliffs and as a bonus Sophia would enjoy looking at the farm animals while daddy helped himself to some real good Irish breakfast.
As luck would have it we ended up meeting a man with a dream to build a trail that leads to the Cliffs of Moher.
Pat Sweeney took us on this amazing adventure…a 15K walk (because the trail’s not finished yet so we had to cut it short) that lasted four hours.
And in that time we felt so in tune with nature.
Sophia had a great time and we’ve made a lifetime friend in Ireland.
The Doolin Cliff Walk to the Cliffs of Moher is a must do adventure for anyone traveling to Ireland.
